Here’s a challenge for all you aspiring animators looking to expand your talents. Rookie Alumni, Mehmet Tayfur Türkmenoğluwe has created an original character called Knight Spider using Autodesk Maya. This cool character has then been professionally rigged by Mike Fabris from Dr Reel.

We would like to congratulate all of the Rebelway FX Challenge 2022 winners. It was an honor to sponsor this year's Challenge.

VFX artists were challenged to select a single shot from the trailer or complete the entire trailer. Bonus points were awarded for having a higher number of impressive FX. Judges were looking for attention to detail, execution, and (most importantly) a ‘WOW!’ factor that leaves us speechless.

The winners of this epic contest received incredible prizes and bragging rights to the community.

The Rookies announced the winners for the Rookie Awards 2022 - the world's most prestigious competition for aspiring design and media entertainment artists.

Rookie Awards 2022 received over 4,400 entries from aspiring digital artists around the world. The winners represent the very best aspiring digital artists as selected by the judging panel which include some of the most influential and respected experts in their creative and technical fields.
