Our proprietary file management tool, Envoy, was created with the most demanding and security conscious of artists and studios in mind.  Large file transfers have been optimized and secured for quicker up/downloads - wrapped in an intuitive interface.  Envoy v3 includes:

  1. all of your files and submissions in one location,

  2. significantly faster performance,

  3. improved workflow (e.g. see all submissions for a project).

Download Envoy

Below are the download links to Envoy by operating system.  HERE are a few Envoy related pointers that are worth first reviewing.

Envoy Setup

Setting up Envoy is a simple process that should take a minute or two.  Here are a few things to keep in mind when doing so.

  • The Envoy download includes our submission plugins for the 3d software that you are using (which permits submitting to GridMarkets from the interface of your 3d Software).

  • Ubuntu 18.04+ users: please sudo apt -y install libgconf2-4 libxcb-xinerama0 before starting the Envoy UI.

  • Mac users: Requires High Sierra (OSX 10.13.6) or higher.  If you are presented with a security warning on open then please right-click and Open the app.

  • Windows users: We recommend rebooting your PC after installation.

  • Before launching Envoy, ensure the following firewall ports are open: HTTPS port 443, and 5000, 5001 & 8003 to api.gridmarkets.com.  Note that some virus protection software, particularly Kaspersky and Windows Defender, can block Envoy so you may also need to disable them or whitelist gm-envoy.exe locally on port 8090

  • If you cannot login, then open a shell or command prompt and run telnet api.gridmarkets.com 8003 (or 5000 or 5001) to make sure you can connect.

  • If you are still having issues then please send your Envoy log (under the Portal View menu) to support@gridmarkets.com
