Naomi Birot: CFX & Houdini Artist Shaping Procedural Worlds Through FX

Naomi Birot is a Paris-based CFX and VFX Artist whose work is driven by a deep passion for procedural workflows and expressive simulation. From flowing fabrics and dynamic hair setups to environment-driven FX, her approach blends technical precision with a strong artistic sensibility.

With professional experience across major animation and VFX studios, including Illumination McGuff, Mikros Animation, MPC Paris, and Digital District-Naomi has contributed to feature films such as Pets 2 and Sing 2, while continuing to develop personal projects that explore Houdini’s creative potential. Alongside production work, she is also a Houdini educator and an active member of the Houdini artist community.
