Victor didn’t take the traditional path. He first studied Marketing before realizing his heart was somewhere else, inside game worlds, particles, and digital explosions. Switching to game development became a turning point. He started his career as a Rigger, but the moment he was asked to create a VFX shot, everything changed. He had found his calling.

His career took an international leap when he passed an art test for TT Games and moved from Spain to the UK, without speaking a word of English. It was intimidating, exciting, and transformative. Releasing his first AAA LEGO title marked a milestone that fueled his drive to keep learning, keep experimenting, and keep pushing what VFX can do inside games.

Today, Victor works across tools like Unreal, Blender, Substance, Photoshop, and Houdini, but he believes the real secret to great VFX goes beyond software. It’s in observation, how water breaks, how leaves fall, how the world moves. That blend of technical skill, natural inspiration, and genuine love for games shapes every effect he creates.

In our latest interview, Victor shares his early influences, his international career journey, the challenges behind becoming a VFX specialist in games, and the advice he hopes will guide the next generation of artists.

If you’ve ever wondered how game artists bring worlds to life, or you’re simply inspired by creators who follow their passion fearlessly, this is a story worth diving into.
