GridMarkets Houdini Cloud Cache node streamlines the simulation submission process and reduces errors for caching or simulation caching on the GridMarkets cloud. This can save time and local compute resources, as heavy simulations can be run on the cloud rather than tying up a local machine for extended periods of time. Our Cloud Cache node ensures that simulations are not accidentally run on render nodes, and allows for the spreading of heavy time-independent caches over multiple machines. It also allows for parallel submissions and easy iterations, increasing flexibility and efficiency in the development process. Additionally, separating simulation caching from actual renders creates practical advantages, as running simulations on render machines can greatly prolong the process.
The Cloud Cache Node is also expected to be integrated into future tools and services offered by GridMarkets.
